I had to leave this beauty, lookin like this, while I fly off with the fam bam to go see Lilo & Stitch’s house.

the anticipation just might get the best of me while I’m gone...

7 days at Aulani and I’ll most likely be dreamin of my truck in the desert.

Need some advice. I'm getting a new compressor to keep in the truck and doing a little modification. Installing a lock on air chuck, but I need to buy a 1/4" hose barb to go with it. Would it be a huge issue if I used a brass fitting even though the chuck is stainless? I assume the main thing is possible leak in the future, but I will be using loctite.

Don't use loctite brass to stainless. You'll pull the threads right out of the brass. Can use some teflon pipe dope for it though. Brass works ok,shouldn't have an issue.

Derp, guess I mistyped. I was going to use some teflon tape on the threads.

Thanks Gents! Had a great birthday, reminding myself that age is just a number. Even if it is one that rounds up to dead. :D

And got this as a surprise gift from my wife. Guess she finally got tired of hearing me complain about my soldering iron.
