Thank you. Hopefully the next few months brings more factory incentives as well. They're willing to deal more on a 19 TRD Pro, but I want the power seats :anonymous:

I am looking at a DCSB TRD Offroad 4x4 with the manual trans. Only add ons are floor mats. Metallic Grey Gunmetal. Dealer offered 33700. That is with 750.00 in cash incentives and 500.00 military. Thoughts on that price?

That's a SOLID deal. I paid $34,500 for same, plus tax, title fees. Then again, I'm in tax/tariff/regulation hell California.

Has anyone been able to negotiate/heard of someone else successfully negotiating a 2020 SR DCSB V6 4x4 under $30k before TTL? That is a little over 10% off MSRP but being as it's a base model I was wondering if there would be less negotiating room. I would have access to the $500 military incentive, thankfully.

I think you can do a little better. I have a similar truck but with tonneau, steps, and LED's. MSRP was 38600; paid 34500 after rebate. Keep fighting...

I was able to get it down to $29,500, msrp was $33,700, but I opted for a Off Road instead.

Msrp was 38,800 and price I paid before ttl was 33,800. Percentage wise it was very similar 12.5% off on SR and 12.9% on TRD

Put a deposit on a 2020 Tacoma, SBDC, with tech package and weather liners. Got the msrp to 34,070 before nj tax titles fees. After all said and done it’s 37,860 out the door.

Sounds like a good deal but you listed your negotiated price not the MSRP. What trim ie SR5, TRD-Sport, TRD-OR? 2wd or 4wd?

Morning everyone. I am looking at a 2020 SR5, DC or AC cab V6. Which would you get Access cab or Double Cab.

Really depends on what you need as far as back seat space then which one appeals to your eyes. I went with dc for ease of access and more dry storage

I like the look of the DC but rarely have any passengers. 60 pound dog for vet appts. she would be good with the space in the Access cab with the seats down in the back. Access cab with a V6. Save a few dollars that way. The I4 is underpowered I feel. Got to have some type of running boards as the height is a stretch for my old bones.

Just purchased a 2020 Access Cab, Silver Sky Metallic, V6, SR5, 4x2. The sticker was about $32k. They offered $500 off, no dealership fees, and 1.9% financing. I pulled the trigger as it was exactly what I wanted and this specification is relatively rare where I live.

Really? I am glad you're happy, and I'm sure location has a lot to do with it. That being said, Truecar in my area lists double cab SR5s in V6 4x2 around $30.5k before TTL.

I had been looking in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas Fort Worth for what seems like forever and one never materialized! They were all Double Cab or 4x4, which I was determined not to buy. My wife and I flew to Atlanta, GA for $200 per ticket, spent one night for $100 at a Hyatt Place, and drove it home the next morning with 3 rest stops and a dinner! It took 11 hours, but we did it on a Saturday.

This is my 4th new Tacoma and I find I love the access cab, V6, SR5, 4x2 configuration. I had a 2005 4 cyl. and was not satisfied with the passing capabilities as "Flooring it" did nothing. Next I had a 2013 in my dream configuration except all they had was White. At the time I wanted MGM, but I bought it and enjoyed it after all. Third was a 2017 MGM TRD Off Road Double Cab 4x2. This truck was almost perfect, except Double Cab. This truck had a lot of the cross wind cab noise on the highway. Furthermore, I do not go off roading, just urban commuting, so I felt the TRD OR bells and whistles were a waste on me, although I did get used to the push button start.

The new 2020 is precisely what I wanted. I refused to be pushed to dealer inventory on the lot, so I traveled to Atlanta to bring her home to Texas. I considered it a rescue mission as she was manufactured in San Antonio, so I brought her home to the Lone Star State! I intend to pay this one off and keep her as long as she'll go. Lastly, that 3rd gen cross wind cab noise seems to be fixed in the 2020. I also haven't noticed the transmission "hunting." I am 100% satisfied with this one. It did not come with window tint, so I added ceramic tint, 30% front and 70% rear, as well as the OEM Toyota long bed, bed mat, which is great.
