Rest day for me, prepping for a big day of squats, heavy farmers, and front carry training tomorrow. Likely the last heavy training before this comp.

Well showering typically helps with the man stank lol.
I’m pretty fortunate I’m not a hairy dude so I don’t have too much to worry about. Not jungles like some guys have to deal with.

I got my taint waxed once.
    Once.
    Never again.

@Supra TT and the dude that hasn’t been here in a while. Can’t remember his name. Think he said he had his pro card. Always had some funny off the wall comments.

How’s everyone doing tho? Nobody has really talked about reaching goals or hitting PR’s or losing weight.

Nothing groundbreaking to report here. In prep for my next meet April 11. Still a long way out. Weights are light, and reps are high. Laying the foundation.

Training has been a little off the last bit. Dealing with a little sciatica flare up. Lots of life stress right now. Working through all of it. Every on the prize.

    life is good. Let’s gooooo.

how about you? New life situation working out well?

I'm stuck at 314lbs. I was hoping for around 320-325 but I think I am hitting that point where I'm losing some fat and that is keeping my bodyweight down. Would be a different story if I was cramming food everyday and not fasting 1 day a week or doing carb cycling. Having said that I am hitting big PRs on all lifts so I am definitely getting stronger.

9 days out from this comp.... Not feeling good about that :(. I'm not worried about the overhead medley event, frame carry, or truck pull, but the last event is a 4 stone carry medley which is going to be tough, farmers into deadlift is going to be a tough one too. Lightest stone is 315 then up to 355 which is an atlas stone and really really hard to front carry. All picks are from the ground to the chest then carry 50ft for total time. I haven't front carried anything heaver than 300lbs in training, so hopefully adrenaline takes over at this event haha

I started with the goal of not zeroing any events, but now my goals are to not come last and not get injured.

Haven’t weighed since December, no PR’s but I did finally start meal prepping like I was hoping to, eating has been pretty good and this week I’ve been consistent in the gym.
My work clothes fit better except in my quads/ass so maybe the squats are working
