Ideas? Black out fenders and chin

I have a 3rd gen TRD Sport, but I really dig the look of the matte black fenders and chin on the OR and PRO models. Any suggestions on the easiest/best way to convert them would be helpful

 

Try finding part numbers for the fenders and search the dealer parts website. As for the chin, plastidip?

I used some Rust-Oleum bed liner to de-chrome my rear bumper and I plan on using it on the fenders of my 2nd gen.
I don't see why it wouldn't work for what you're looking for.
That, or look into trading or buying OEM OR/PRO fenders.

 

These are it I think. Expensive af for just plastic.
Other options would be to try and switch with someone with an off road on the for sale section, or buying off brand ones.

As for plastidip, it only looks bad if you do a bad job. Have to keep it shined up or else they start to look faded. I used to use tire shine to keep the plastidip looking new lol

 

You can just mask off your existing fenders, sand them down, then use the rustoleum bed liner spray on them. Once they have dried, knock down the rough texture with 400 grit sand paper to make them smooth again.

I have the OR fenders already but I got some trail damage on them awhile back. I used this method and haven't had a problem since.

 

Im probably going to plastidip mine when the weather gets warmer. If I dont like it or get tired of it I can just pull it off.

Anyone ever paint their fenders? Can’t be that much at a bodyshop? Few hundred if that? I wonder bow gloss painted fenders would look on a white truck hm...

 

You can also buy color matching paint and do it at home for much less. Quality would be dependent on you, but it's pretty easy.
