Is that LED lit where you can change the color and intensity of the light? That would look pretty darn cool. Even though it's already a pretty darn cool idea.

Finally finished this the other night. Liked it better than the Macallan gold. Both are middle/low end examples but great dinner singles. 1 drop of water opened them up nicely

Would be especially sweet if you could change colors and such. Put that with the same thing around the room and it would be downright cool. May have to try my hand at it. Now to find a nice barrel.

And you jumped straight in to the deep end, too! It wasn't but a few months later and we were swapping these pours:

I plan on starting to do some more/better organization, maybe starting tonight. I need to raise the back of the shelves a tad so that the back row is more accessible. I did also recently clear some space in the bottom of the cabinet, so some overflow stuff can go back in there. A big part was finding a new place for my wife to keep her wine :D.

I'll see if I can't snap something tonight, then maybe get it all cleaned up by the weekend. :)

I saw Little Book for the first time at a store I hadn't been into forever. It was $200 though, so I didn't even look close enough to see what chapter it was or anything.

Their Booker's was $100 which is $20 more than the average in my area so they're definitely on the higher end of the price point.

Eagle Rare was $39 so I went ahead and got one :D

She drinks cabs, mostly, and prefers them room temp? Hell, I don't know much about wine.

I need a bigger cabinet. Getting her a wine fridge in the process might be fair ;).

I'm right there with you, I don't know jack about wine. I know my favorite I had was on a cruise it was a spatlese(sp?) reisling, it was about $60 a bottle was super good and I think this one was from Germany. We took the label off one of the 4 bottles we had on the cruise and I've never been able to find it.

You should get your display with nice LED back lighting with colors and such. :)

Ya I like LED lighting, it looks nice and the colors can help set a mood for the gathering. Our next place I plan to try and put it all over and have a nice control system.

I'd really like to add LEDs. I have to figure out a way to make them work nicely in that cabinet. I'd want the light to be visible, but not the actual lights (if that makes sense). I'd also want them on a little switch attached to the door. I use an enclosed cabinet to keep light off of the bottles, so I'd only want light when the doors are open for display.

I put LEDs in a shadow-box for a Mavs jersey that I have and it looks pretty nice. Cheap, too. Maybe I'll snag another strand.

I'll be with @Bigdaddy4760 tomorrow and maybe Saturday working on the pit, so we'll see how motivated I am for other projects when I get back home ;).

I use LED strips that you can cut to the right length. I've also been using ones that have a switch and can also be controlled via an app on your phone. What's nice is the app allows you to setup scenes and control multiple strips at once. You can also put them behind a wood strip to hide or in a tube to diffuse the light. Ya I'm an electronics geek as I've told you. One year I will be on that Great Christmas Light Fight show on TV.

Yup. If I really enjoy it it'll be nice to have a bunker bottle. But sometimes I get a good deal on 2 bottles, like EHT Single barrel, and give one bottle away before trying it. Then realize I made a mistake  @bvbull200 called it spot on
