The mod in question has a rabid following, one may even go as far as to say he has a fan club....and yes, I had a feeling that a barrel and someone being bent over it was definitely a possibility..... given the prototype in question.

    I've said too much already.....

Yes. You should probably hide in the berry bushes, or maybe not?

    Dear Mr. Loder.

Has a glow-in-the-dark paint applied to the inside of the glove box, or perhaps a glow-in-the dark manual been discussed?

Pardon my ignorance but what the hell is "TNGA". Sounds like a girls name but I suspect it's not.

I would actually like to see the truck go retro. I started buying Toyota trucks in 1983 because they made tough trucks and they lasted forever. They were basic but very cool. The reason Toyota trucks have such good value retention today is because of the name recognition formed in the early years of their trucks by Toyota. Since then I have watched Toyota attempt to take on the North American Ford, Chevy and Dodge marketplace. I have always bought Toyota because they were distinctive and different. Now Toyota makes the Tacoma in the image of a Ford F-150. I see people putting Raptors lights in their Tacoma grills. Go buy a Ford. When Fords does something to the F-150- today it seems Toyota copies Ford but is 3 years behind them. Toyota used to be the leader. It used to be when Toyota did something, Ford copied it on the F-150. Toyota needs to distinguish themselves and be different.

I still like todays Tacoma's, however having driven all versions, the best was my 1983 small tough little truck. No heated steering wheel, radar cruise control or crap that cost too much to purchase and fix. Yes the newly developed over the years safety features are great. Toyota - how about a solid smaller retro truck with all the safety upgrades. Maybe even a hybrid or electric retro truck.

Tinga is a Mexican dish made with shredded chicken in a sauce made from tomatoes, chipotle chilis in adobo, and sliced onions. It is often served on a tostada and accompanied by a layer of refried beans. It can be topped with avocado slices, shredded lettuce, crumbled cheese, sour cream, and salsa.

I'm pretty proud of them allowing us to buy the SR Utility at a decent price. I paid 24k OTD for my 4x4 in 2016. The non-intermittent wipers surprised me the first time it rained but I'm OK with it. Pleasantly surprised that it had T/tele wheel, power heated side mirrors, and the back up camera.

The only thing where I'm pissed it doesn't have(really feel is unacceptable on ANY truck) is the plastic bumper corners that you can't step on to get in the bed with the tailgate down. Fixed that with a bed step.

    Yes, yes, yes.

    Aaaand, you lost me there.

lol, I've been in for 15 issues so far and that was just the first 3 years. Love the truck but it's silly to pretend like these trucks don't
have plenty of issues. My 2011 was nothing like this one as far as issues go. I was at the dealer once in 5 yrs. but can't recall what it
    was even for.

I don’t think your experience is the norm. You either got a lemon, or mine is a unicorn. A faulty head unit screen that died in the first few days. Other than that, three trouble-free years for me.

I heard that that the 2021 is going retro with front drum brakes, an in dash cassette player and a cd changer mounted behind the back seat.

But will have the 8 Track as an option? Thoughtful.

Aren't you pretty much describing a Toyota pickup that exists today: the Hilux? I would buy one but since it would likely cost less than a Tacoma, eat into Tacoma sales and mean less profit for Toyota, I don't think I will get the oppourtunity.

Toyota selling it for 40k has nothing to do with the resale value. Consumers and demand determines market resale value.
