Blazing Blue Pearl Thread

I wouldn't describe BBP as flashy. When I was searching for a Tacoma, I looked at all the colours and asked myself, can I live with this colour longterm? The BBP stood out the best for me and was the colour I felt that I would be happy with in years to come. Still feel that it was the best colour.

 

Because there is no Blazing Blue for 2020 , I holding on to my 2016 Off Road

 

If the sun hits the truck just right it can have this extremely bright hue, it almost looks like it has some green undertones.
Yeah, under the right light, pretty flashy for a truck

 

If I had to pick between flashy and not flashy I would pick flashy .

 

For the record - my last Toyota was Super White. Other people ran into it 6 times in 12 years (mostly from behind).

Current Toyota is Blazing Blue Pearl. No one has run into it.

Yet my insurance wants more money to insure it because "it's bigger" and "can cause more damage." I say BS. If no one else is hitting ME, I'd say we have a winner.

 

What do y'all BBP owners think of the Blue Ribbon Metallic on the 2nd Gens?

 

Many years ago before I took the truck to rehab

 

My stripes would have looked good on it...but better on BBP.

 

Captain America's suit is closer to BBP than BRM so I'm sure your stripes and front emblem look better on a BBP truck like yours

 

I did it to satisfy my inner 8 year-old. The funny thing is that I don't get comments from 8 year-olds. I get them from 38 year-olds!!

Started off with BBP and then went to the Cement side of Taco truck land

 

Both are badass

 

That is a close colour to the Indigo Ink. It's a nice looking blue.

Does anyone think Toyota will ever bring back bbp? Other than Tacoma what else was it available on? Tundra only?

 

I've seen it on a Yaris and on a Highlander once. Sad, that was.

 

Damn it's like looking into a time machine lol, actually thought it was my picture for a second because the plate is the Jersey yellow color

VS what it looks like now. There is lift no tires look thought if you're looking into lifts and black tailgate letters (invest)
