I have seen many people put on the aftermarket TRD PRO style grille with the raptor lights I was just wondering if anyone here has done it. If so how durable is the grill? What is the quality like?

Any pictures of it installed? Links on where you bought it?

This one is to easy...........simply type TRD PRO GRILL into your search bar on almost any search engine. There are at least three venders out there with really good copies, with and without the lights, and U tube instructions.

Quality is getting better every year for aftermarket pro grills. Just find a few threads on here about them, including vendors, and you'll get your questions answered pretty quick

Just received my mad hornets grille just in time for Christmas as it's a surprise to the old lady

I did not order the raptor lights however it arrived with them and they popped right out and I plan on using them on a different vehicle

Great quality for the price there are differences in the way that are made to keep from being copyrighted very subtle compared side by side to a Toyota factory unit

    $126 with garnish .....
However I got a email that the garnish would ship separate from the grille it has not arrived yet
I am hopeful the mix up with the raptor lights didn't cancel out my garnish if so I am still pleased with the quality level for $126
This version has the letters that are all one piece and that part with the letters screws on the back with 4 screws

Update... the garnish came separate a few days later and is not a Toyota factory unit but has the Toyota logo and part numbers
I did have to be trimmed on the two titties that stick up in the clips
Heavy black silicone was used on the top two alignment holes

Over all there are differences in both products but for the price totally worth the money

Thanks for the update. Any pictures you have?

sounds like the only issue you had was the plastic molding wasn’t cleaned up on the edges right?

The edges were just fine as far as fitting in the opening it was the snap tabs and the thickness of them fitting into the grille openings
I assume here that the knock off stuff is from two separate manufacturers in China and close tolerance is not that big of an issue in the molding process

I will get the old lady to post up the pics shortly of where I had to trim it up and the installed product

based on your username, using trim and two titties in a sentence just sounds wrong.

I see what you are talking about. I’m just trying to figure out what the best deal on a decent grill is. I know they are all from China that’s why I don’t want to over pay for one. I think your site you got it off it was best deal because it comes with garnish

Update the crash avoidance system has given a few clean sensor notifications
    It's clean as can be
It threw no such warning for the 2 days I drove without the garnish

I haven't heard back from Mad Hornets about if their grill is painted matte black or that is the plastic color itself. Does anybody who has one of theirs know? Thanks
