I've seen those; so when I said voice control it's more or less to eliminate using the app on my phone or tablet to change/dim/turn on and off the Philips Hue lighting system.

The apartment already came with 'smart plugs' where I can use my phone to turn them on and off; I have 1 of the plugs on a schedule to come on in the living room when I wake up in the morning, and shut off by the time I'm supposed to leave for work.

 

Wow city driving only in winter time really kills my mpg. 16 on last tank. And it was all city driving/short trip stuff.... I'm consistently at 19-21 mpg with my normal mixed driving. Damn

 

Tumblers worn out. Before it actually breaks take it out of the truck (it easy, google it) and take the cylinder to a locksmith and they should be able to rebuild it for cheap. Just make sure you have a new key for him to use (ideally cut off the vin at a Toyota dealer, not from another key)

Anyone remember off the top of their head what that Ford grease is called thats recommended to use on our slip yokes when greasing them by hand?

Might just grab that instead...gonna take apart the back piece of the driveshaft today to grease it by hand and hopefully get rid of the drive shaft ping once and for all

Miss the sound and power of my old v8. But I'll keep my 20 mpg with the 2.4L, versus the 13 mpg I had prior; plus she's still a snappy sumbitch too with RPM's

one of my buddies had one of the 5.2l ones. It was a fun truck

 

Gimme your supercharger and you'd probably be back up to 17mpg.

If you were to sell your supercharger for $2,400, but instead gave it to me, you'd save almost $6/week.

Driving at the same rate you do now, without adding any long distance trips, wheeling, etc. it'll only take over 7 1/2 years until you break even. After that, you're basically making money!

I even excluded the maintenance on the supercharger itself, imagine that!
