    It is not. To openly carry, you must first have a concealed carry permit. There are still a ton of restrictions where you can carry, and any business is permitted to refuse to allow open carry at their discretion.

    For the most part, very few people actually openly carry because it identifies them as the first target to shoot in the back.

    Not really a fan of open carry either. Perfectly legal here but it’s also instant attention for any number of reasons.

    Also, the 60 year old actual cowboy with a revolver on his hip is the only type I’ve seen look good pulling it off.

    That’s the point. This isn’t about open carry. AZ doesn’t require a permit to carry concealed.

    “Arizona has permitless carry, any person 21 years of age and older who can legally possess a firearm may carry a concealed firearm on his or her person without a license or permit.”

    Warning about DM - I was stationed there from 92-95 - the golf course is possessed.

    Demonized.

    Little. Fucking. Owls.

    They are full of hate and shit, and will freely shower golfers with both.

    The course also suffers from horrible "cart path assist." The kaliche is rock hard, and in several places an innocent just off-fairway hit can take a 100 yard detour in any of an infinite amount of directions.

    Then there's the ocotillo cactus, which is sharp enough to embed itself in club heads just as easily as it cleaves human flesh...

    So it’s out there...I was born and raised in Tucson. Left when I joined the CG a tick before my 20th birthday. My dad used to work for TEP down there off Irvington.

    Ah, that's the crap. "Mexican jumping cholla" people called it because it would break off and stick to everything, burrowing deeper as it did so. Evil stuff.

    I used to live in Benson on the back side of the Rincons. It was AWESOME!! Quail and coyote hunting on the White House Ranch land, gorgeous sunsets, and very (VERY) distant neighbors.

    Quiet, peaceful, and absolutely the most beautiful sunsets anywhere.
