How are you liking his program? I've been interested in getting one.

Also, isn't starting strength a newbie program?

I am only on day 2 of week 2 so not a ton of experience yet. It has been good so far though. I definitely feel like I am getting a more "effective" workout than what I was previously doing. My only prior experience is P90x. After a while I started to feel like the workouts were tiring me out more than building muscle. So far I feel the tiredness/soreness from this program more in my muscles themselves rather than just general energy levels. IDK if that makes sense.

I think starting strength is kind of a newbie thing from what I have read, but I think it scales pretty easily... especially if your goal is to increase your strength in the basic compound lifts

Honestly I’m a personality guy all the way. Looks come and go but a good partner in life is where its at.
I’ll pretty much nail anything that cleans my house, unloads my dishwasher, lets me workout as much as I want, and puts up with my shit.

I like tattoos, nice eyes, and oddly I do like the skinny type guys, but not the ones with like arms of Nicole Kidman. He does have to gym.

Personality obviously trumps all. But we looks are what get you interested in the first place 99% of the time. Everyone wants to enjoy who they look at in bed.

Not a great leg day but did some work. It bugs me how shitty my squats are and how slow the process can be.

Going to try the safety squat bar out next leg day as it was taken today.

Ok so I’m not sure it was all the yogurt. Every time I eat or drink anything I get nausea and stomach pain. I think it might be the meds I’m on so I’ve stopped taking them.

@Supra TT if you eat dairy how long do the ill effects last?

So this BP monitor sucks ass. First reading when I got home was 171/98... Then it came back and gave me two readings of 88/66 lol finally I got one somewhat normal reading of 122/83.

Half the time the cuff comes undone cause it's too small, then the other half of the time it errors out. The biggest cuff I can find for these automatic monitors goes up to 18.5in, which is still like 2in too small.

So I guess I'm gonna have to do it the manual way.

This one is OK. I had my buddy whos a physician manually check ours and then do the machine and they matched.
You have to put your hand crossed over your heart when you do this one.

Anyone forget how to lift? I’m questioning everything I’ve ever done this rest week but I know it’s just pregame jitters. Two days out, stimming the shoulder and hips and trying to stay loose.
