    regular season: points for Niners 479, Chiefs 451. Points against Chiefs 308, Niners 310.

    looks pretty even to me with a slight edge to the Niners ability to score.

    looking at strength of schedule and injuries though, Niners clean up. They are healthy on D side of ball again and more dangerous now on offense than at beginning of season.

    I like the prospect of a Reid vs Shanahan bowl.

    Niners are clear favorites to come home with 6th Lombardi Trophy.

    Well I mean, if you haven't won any there's nothing to look fondly back on but abject failure and misery. :notsure:
    I can very distinctly remember wondering if New England would ever win a Superbowl after we had just brought on our 3rd head coach in 5 years (and after Favre & GB had embarrassed us to end the '96 season).

    Now, I've got something to look back on fondly while I eagerly await their next trip to the big game.
