    I rock this one (because I busted my ass to get there and fast track all my promotions), but like others, I avoid the free meal days. I have no desire to wait in line or actively pursue the thanks for your service thing. I have a couple stickers but nothing huge and mostly just because I gave a lot to the service. Still rarely engage in extra service related conversations unless it’s a one on one type deal. The ones that crack me up are the ones that go full tard with all their stuff and yet only did a couple years. Totally for it if they were medically discharged or retired but don’t act like your life was nothing but service when you only did one enlistment. Stay in if you want to be a bill board.

    Like others, I go for the discount with HD or Lowe’s when making a big purchase because that’s just another tool I can get with what I saved.

    I’ll do it with online signup stuff like expertvoice where I won’t have to feel like a needy asshole begging for a hand out for something I did that has nothing to do with a free discount.
