Yea I think I should've just done a headlight retrofit and I would've not put ditch lights, I put them to make up for my headlights. Those look awesome, was that night shot just on low?

They figured it out. There were multiple things that needed to be fixed. Let’s just say it wasn’t cheap:pout:

So what was the issue? I'm curious, I know we texted about it a few days ago.

When I was doing autobody and paint i redid the bird and all the pin striping on one of those Trans Ams. The paint was good but the bird was faded and the stripes were cracking. Used a razor blade to get it all off then go back and get the glue off without scratching the paint. They are over 125 feet of pin strips on that car.

Faulty MAF sensor dirty throttle body. They have to clean out the entire fuel system. Spark plugs are basically toast.

They tried to say the K&N filter caused the sensor to fail, ive had it on for 60k so idk if that was it.

Oil from the filter could have gotten into your system. OEM paper filter man!

yep low beam with no fog lights on either. The cut off is SUPER crispy and the beam is insanely wide. Definitely worth the cash, I contemplated having them built but honestly it’s not THAT bad. I did ask a guy that runs a retrofit service on TW tons of questions and he helped a ton but now I know the secrets :anonymous:

Was it an oiled filter? Definitely read that those are not to be used.

I have a 2WD, so I am able to run 4 inch longer spindles to get height without replacing any control arms. Ya' know for stance :transformer:

No, K&N makes an air filter that you have to apply oil to. An oiled air filter. Some folks get happy with the oil on their air filter and the intake sucks it in, fouling up throttle bodies and MAFs.

Btw, its been a busy day and I forgot....Roll Tide! Bama is a basketball school now! If they were going to finally put together a full game I'm glad it was against an undefeated (15-0) Barnville team! Miserable game to watch as a basketball fan with 55 combined fouls but a good game to watch your favorite team beat the shit out of your overrated rival!

There’s a lift shop just outside of jasper that is called nothing but lifts. I stopped in one day out of curiosity for costing to have coil overs installed and a new leaf pack for a 3” lift. Price was somewhat hefty but he tried to get me to consider the rough country 3 inch spacer lift and I told him no. When he asked why I explained myself about my worries of things going very wrong when off roading.

Anyway he said there could be potential for problems off road but only under extreme circumstances. But for anyone that is basically on road most of the time and does light to medium off roading a spacer lift would be fine and is what he installs most of by a land slide because most just want the looks and the benefits of being able to fit a larger tire.
