Thanks, I am trying to decide between these, and the Tech Deck, if the Op ever makes anymore of these.

I was fortunate to get a set a long time ago, even before that ballsout or whatever was selling them.
Unfortunately at this point if i was in the market, I’d look at the tech deck or similar because OP doesn’t appear to be making any attempt to make these anymore.
Which sucks because they are awesome!!

Curious as to What don’t you like about them? What do you mean about having to be perfect?

    Thanks.

Had some time today so made a template then cut a couple out using the water jet at work. Small tabs you see are just to keep it from falling in the tank once cut. I’ll add the holes and radius the edge before mounting. Used 1/2” aluminum, which is what I had available. It’s probably a bit too thick but will fit between the bezel of the fan switch and the mounting surface.

I would love to get some these. Tech deck is too much in the way. This is much better in my opinion. OP @Lostsheep make some more brother! Everyone wants some.

No response from the OP. Website no longer on line.

    I went with an alternative.

    Tech Deck from Birddawg.

I wasn’t happy with the finish on it though. Contacted them, said they were having problems with the finish and offered to take it back. I opted for a couple coats of spray paint.

    Here we go again!
Installed Tech Deck and found it well designed. Mounted a 10” tablet and it is very solid. Mounted the copilots phone too.

    Not much ..... yet
I have the Tech Deck and like it very much but having something less intrusive/bulky would be fantastic. The Tech Deck with a Ram mount holding my mobile is hard to position so that it doesn't cover much of the stereo.

@mdeang that's a great point. I don't have the tech deck but that is my main reason for wanting something different b/c I don't want to sacrifice stereo real estate. something in the position of slightly beneath of the air vent (where the black blanks are) or slightly to the right of that would be ideal. attaching my best attempt at where I think a phone would be greatly mounted for the right handed person and still out of the way and not so high as to attract attention from law enforcement as well. currently I have the A pillar mount and I sometimes worry that I may get pulled over.
