I agree with everything you're saying.. I've also experienced much I would not wish on anyone but I suck with words lol. Just refreshing to know there's people like you still....I am Much better at listening then talking I guess.... I've unfortunately been the one in shoes I don't like to admit but do many times so people know they are not alone and then...I listen.

Well, it helps I am sitting here at a desk and not face to face. I can form complete and comprehensible sentences so much better. LOL But it also helps when the people I speak to are receptive, and appreciate it. I've been on a lot of forums, a lot. So far there has only been one as great as this one. And by great, I mean the heart and soul of people on it. They make a forum what it is. "REAL" People like you make it that way. And yes, listening to someone, truly listening, is always harder than talking to someone. Those people with that gift are generally wiser and better at really helping. I tend to hear the things that people don't say. So a lot of times I can be wrong. I think the older I get the easier it is becoming to listen too, and get more right.

 

What I hope for someday to retire in. Something near a lake or river and in the wilderness preferable.

 

If you can see yourself there, then will it so.

Oh I think your not giving yourself credit. For sure there are many twists and turns, but the path will be lit for you when the time is right like a giant moon.
I never have doubt in life, as that is the poison that rips the effort from ones bones.

Yup! I love this place, reminds me of the best times in my life when I was a kid.
Time stops for me up here. I own a place in ATL as well, but roll up to NC every other week to regain my sanity. Over the next year, the mtn house will becomes my permanent residence.
