Lol, I'm in the same boat! All those damn wine bottles taking up space. We also have some china and non-liquid holding glassware in the cabinet. Byproducts of merging 2 households into one and being sentimental about too many things to purge much. But I'm workig on it. It's like Tetris moving stuff around.

    Not much stock left.
I absolutely love this stuff. I have a bottle of the 21 year sitting at home.

Gives you a good reason to hunt down more then. :)

They are building a micro distillery/restaurant around us. Once it's open I'm going to have to try it out. We have a bunch of Brewery/Restaurants around us I want to try some of them out this summer, Eric and I have been talking about doing a brewery road trip towards the UP to visit a few of the places we've heard about.

Big fan of Barrel Bourbon but this one isn’t my fav. Not sure if they are sourcing from a new spot or what...

I had a bottle of that batch as well. It was okay for the first half of the bottle, but the heel was fantastic.

Finally picked up some parafilm for bottles that only get opened once a year. Super easy to work with stretching around the neck and cork... 10/10 would recommend.

First step is clearing empties. I keep having all of these projects in mind, but they never come to fruition . I'll still throw most in a spare storage spot. The really cool ones just HAVE to go to some use.

These are from a couple/few years and are bottles I've had or bottles that have been part of tasting nights that I've hosted, but the crew all chipped in on.

The first one of these 1920s was opened and finished on 01/12/2019 with my neighbor. He and I have polished 2 additional, plus a couple I made my way through. You could say I'm a fan. :laugh:20200116_180135.jpg

I have a few near empties that need to get finished off, too.
    20200116_183036.jpg

Back at it in there to make some more space!

I need to get me some of that. I have a few bottles that I probably ought to add that to. Right now they just have an inert gas in them and a trustworthy cork, but that's a better idea.

I just got home from a trip to Missoula Montana for work. There wasn't much to be found in the realm of allocated bourbon so I bought local. I've just poured a glass and I'm letting it sit for a few minutes. Distilled and bottled in Montana. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. 20200116_173053.jpg 20200116_173527.jpg

I added a 2x4 at the back of my shelf that I painted black. Gives me more room and the 750ml bottles easily fit on the 2x4.

I've been pondering adding some stainless steel sheet metal doors to the front ... I just have to figure out the design and how to actually make them haha

Snagged a bottle today. Fairly hot. Was hoping for a hazmat but I'll keep asking around :fingerscrossed:

Anyone have an opinion on these 2 oz sample bottles? I assume glass is the way to go?

Looks awesome! None of the ones I've seen have still been in the box..
Yours is a bit higher proof than mine as well!

The website says 125 to 140 proof.. yours is the highest I've seen yet (mine is 132.8)

@Kanyon71 ... Can you laser stainless steel sheet metal?

Also would be interested in the width measurements of the LED strips you're using? I have a lip on the shelves that they might fit in
