I have the redlinetuning elite struts and they are FANTASTIC. They installed perfectly with no modifications, and easily overpower the hoods weight. Very sturdy construction and totally worth it.

Takes roughly 10 min. Just make sure your measurements are on point and it will work perfect. If too long it wont raise the hood all the way, if too short it will bind the lift. You will understand what I mean by that when you put them in. Left and right arent AS important because they have little pivot joints, but you cant be off by more than a couple mil. Plenty of tolerance.

Now you are making me nervous. Does it go high enough that you have to jump to reach it? I am 5'10.

No. I'm same height actually. You can reach it just fine without even needing to lean against the bumper. The way the hood is angled is very well thought out. It gives massive working clearance, while not being 80 ft in the air. I actually have a rather low floating truss garage and I can have the hood up without it hitting.

If you air down for offroading it is very nice to have OBA. The portable compressors are more than enough if you aren't off the grid often and won't cost a ton like this setup.

About a 1/2 inch thick adhesive backed foam pad will do the trick.

Finally mounted the 285/75/16's... zero offset on 8" wide wheel is 4.5" Back Spacing.... IDK. TC UCA forced me to chop the cab mount. I picked up a template set this morning from Jerry at BAMF and chopped and burned them in a few hours. ZERO rubs. Time to get the truck out to the snow again.

Been busy these past couple weekends getting these Wildpeak 275/70R17s on the truck. Love how it all turned out. Next up are some modular cargo solutions for the KB Voodoo crossbars
