It's was on sale a couple weeks back for $169. Highest lifting they have I think.
I have two old jacks, it was time for a new one......

cannot complain about 2 inches of rain today instead of ice and snow, perfect opportunity to check the durability of wash off for the CF 3000 driving around the wet highway crossing the MO river and back again

i have mixed results that i will need to call and ask about, like if this stuff has to be sprayed when temps are 70-100 for it to work the best or not. I sprayed it in the 40s and low 50s and put it on heavy.

can sorta see the outline of it still around the bottom edge and corner of the gate

    IMG_0065.jpg

pretty sure it did not stick to the plastic fender liners and no idea if it stuck to the bolts i also sprayed, these are all new bolts from earlier this year, it really sharpened things up from what it was looking like before, these bolts corrode BUT the mudflaps bolts DO NOT except for a small bit in the threads, go figure!

    IMG_0053.jpg

seems to have stuck to the back of the mudflap metal bracket

i'm not really sure what is going on here on the rear passenger door sill
above is after the 2 inches of rain sitting outside and
below is what it looked like before i just went ahead and sprayed almost the whole door jam and before the rain above
    IMG_9972.jpg

below pic... i did spray inside the door cavities but this picture would indicate from the streaks that some washed out overnight and this morning with the heavy rain while just sitting outside draining through the drain holes, i certainly hope it did not all rinse out inside of there, thought i sprayed it inside pretty heavy, but idk ... i am exhausted

gonna spray all my plastic liners now with FF, not sure if i can recreate a 2 inch rainfall other than holding the garden hose above my door and letting it drain through!

did you check out the salts gone stuff?
going to try me some of that as well not to thoroughly wash the salt scum off my body panels, always had to use hand sponge at the wand wash before

    it seems unstable
what other options might there be, i am running out of viable ideas
i still have a local rent-all place to check with and see what they might have, but renting is not 'ideal'

    oh boy oh boy
that FF sure did a number on my frame
just noticed today a foot long section of major flash rust on the passenger side i thought the FF was protecting :(

now the temps are into single digits here and i cannot rent a bay at the heated DIY garage for several hours until Monday morning to clean it up and put some temporary primer + check some other spots to make sure everything is tidy for the time being until spring/summer season

How did you miss a foot long section when you used 5x more than you needed?

I used 3 cans and mine is perfect lol

i think the FF stuff washed right off when i was powerwand hosing all the slop out of my wheel wells this weekend
was not able to get a good pic because the sun was going down before i could get my camera, its just flash surface but will progress further faster if i don't remove it soon

its just in the one spot as far as i know by the front leaf spring perch
but now i have to check the whole passenger side with a halogen light when i get to the garage Monday

you were spraying on good paint lol
i had near naked steel I was applying FF to

Pro tip, don’t wash it off

I’ve washed mine a couple times, it’s still fine. But I wash the body and wheel wells, not the under body.

the section that i must've washed off is partially in the wheel well, the leaf spring perch area

I put mine on and don’t touch it.......if when I do wash my truck in the firehouse, sometimes I lightly spray the front and rear diffs. Mind you this is just a garden hose. It isn’t strong enough to wash off the ff. I definitely wouldn’t go at it with a power washer

how do you have a garden hose running when its well below freezing? do you just let it trickle out all day and night?
i cannot just let the slop sit all over :anonymous: its a long time habit spanning 1/4 century
i did 'try' to avoid spraying directly on FF but i just nicked a corner of it i suppose
