We used to have these conversations in high school (mid/late 90's) all the time over drinks  , especially concerning pricing.
'Give me any reliable options, but keep the total price affordable' was the consensus.

Part of my opinion was being a mechanic. Less parts=less problems.
Looks like we both ended up with dollar menu Tacos. :D

When the "OR vs Sport TW War" finally kicks off, we'll be able to put Orkin decals on our trucks and disappear into the ether while we raid "Pro" owner's pads.

Ha,ha! Our city utilities trucks are Util models. I got the Taco Wave from one of them awhile back. They look cool with the light bar on top.

I actually convinced one of my former subcontractors to get a utility pack 3rd Gen as a work truck.
The company is filled with muscle car aficionados and they haven't been able to break it yet :muscleflexing:

Another one I see here is a Certa Pro paint truck. It's lemon yellow and looks horrible.

There's a guy a block away from me who has his own exterminating business/bearded taco, we give each other the fight club nod in passing saturday mornings, when we're headed to the beach

Toyota has really been holding off on changes to their body-on-frame vehicles across the board. Despite updates, some more major than others, they really haven’t introduced any actually new body-on-frame designs to the North American market since 2009.

The Tacoma is from 2004; Tundra from 2006; Land Cruiser, Sequoia, and LX570 from 2007; 4Runner and GX460 from 2009.

I suspect they’ve got several designs in the pipeline but are also waiting for some data as to which way the North American market will go regarding trends for drivelines, fuel economy and emissions in addition to vehicle size trends.

Cooled seats are awesome too. Sit down on a hot summer day and get a fresh breeze over the boys for the whole drive.
