That’s a few empties there. Should take some of those and add LEDs inside then when you plug in they light up. Have done it with tequila bottles for gifts. Looks pretty cool.

Yes we can laser etch stainless steel. Actually just ordered one for @Bigdaddy4760 for his project.

As for the LED strips they are right about 5” wide but there are thinner ones out there.

I have a few bottles like that. Battery powered lights so they aren't tied to a wall. I use those LED "fairy" lights.

What is she using to cut them? I have a few that'd make neat glasses.

I'm thinking this might be good by now... I helped install a spring water pump about 11 years ago at the main location... back when they first started making 'shine. So their aged spirits are probably just coming into their own now...

Let me see what we have around. I just want to avoid exploding one. :)

Accidentally did that to a Christmas bulb I was etching for the wife. Had to clean the machine up.

I've been thinking about reusing some of the cooler bottles and looking for ideas for some time. Ever since I saw this pic of a JD bottle I thought the same thing with a Hibiki Harmony or Blantons bottle would be awesome. I found Several methods to cut the bottle on line, but all are iffy with a round bottle.

The most likely is soaking the bottle in hot water to loosen the label glue and removing those intact. Then using a wet tile saw with a diamond glass cutting blade to cut in two, glue the labels back on. Glue on a hinge. Bing bang boom. Who will be first?
