It's less Tacoma and more mod
The one on my Land Cruiser is really good, because the major diameter of a circle that could fit inside of it is like the perfect size for any cup or can. It could have just as easily been round. But it would have fit the style of nothing in the interior. Here's a picture for those who aren't familiar with 80 series landcruiser center consoles.

    Landcruiser_80_series_auto_plastic_interior_centre_console_storage_box_9397_01_vv.jpg

It's that but mirrored because that's a JDM one, also american models have cushions on top instead of tables. But you get the idea with the cupholder hanging off the side

you think thats bad, check this -

bro-in-law's Audi. Epic fail on the cup holders. 2 in the armrest between driver/passenger. Only problem is, you have to open the arm rest and leave it flipped open to use them. 3rd cup holder is on the dash. Yeah, you guessed it... little bit of gas or that turbo kicks in, passenger is swimming in Grande Quad Espresso.

I haven’t picked up the welding gun for months, and I manage to do that.

Not bad for someone who can’t weld for shit.

Those are sweet, and I doubt mine end up looking that nice but you might be surprised, but I'm going DIY on these(surprise, surprise, right? I know).
I got a template from eon_blue that mechanicjon made to trace onto the material, now I just need to find the best bang for the buck on the rubber/poly sheeting stuff

you just wait. before you know it, you'll be finding old breakfast O's and assorted toys in between ALL of the seats, not just the car seat. Spilled kiddie drink cups and that rare but bound to happen accidental pee diaper leak on the front passenger seat as you struggle to change a diaper. Oh, did I forget to mention stickers and crayon marks? Welcome to dirty vehicle interior HELL.

That'll be my wife's car lol. I mean I'm thrilled I was able to fit the car seat in the back of my truck (even though there are a ton of threads saying it would never happen...weird) but my wife's car is the primary baby hauler.

But yeah when she gets old enough to ride in my truck and come along on wheeling trips I'm sure it'll turn into toddler blast zone

At that point maybe I'll just strip the interior and bedline the whole thing *shudder*

Yeah. That’s a 4Runner transfer case. Those had push-button, and I think that one has the center locking diff/AWD.

    :worthless:

WHOA! Seriously, hat is off to you for getting that seat to fit in your 'backseat'. First Toyota I owned was like yours - extended cab/access cab whatever the correct term is. I never thought it'd be possible to be honest.

Yep, With the passenger seat nearly all the way forward it fits.

    20200110_185638_2.jpg

There aren't 2 latch hooks back there so you have to use the seat belt to secure it but it fits fine. I took her to her 2nd pediatric appt in my truck earlier this week when my wife had work stuff to do.
