same here...it's when i come to a stop . Instincts make me take my foot off the brake and roll forward of possible for things to catch up . Infrequent here as well but's it's happened several times . 04B04

It could be that the changes we make on the low end do not settle well with driving at low rpm when the engine is cold on some trucks. But what I was talking about isn't necessarily in regards to misfire counts, it's just how it idles in general, and how it actually starts up.

I will be posting a major update for all tunes / all ECUs on flash manager. Looking at getting this released by the end of this month.
Including S Mode Gearlock not tied to ECT
    Single Torque Map patch Auto
    SIngle Torque Map patch Manual

    04B02, 04B03, 04B04
    04A60, 04A61
    04B30, 04B31
    04B80
    04B10, 04B11, 04B12, 04B13
    04A70, 04A71
    04B40, 04B41
    04B90

The download will be available on flash manager, and the beta page will be removed from our website.
when these files release, 1.05 will no longer be available on flash manager for the 2019 autos (due to issues).

Note, I am having some difficulty implementing 2 way map switch on the MTs due to lack of modes.

As long as you have a FOB/BFO tune for catless M/T 04b13 I don't care about switching modes...

5.29 specific gear tuning (via usersubmission)

What does “Via user submission” mean in regards to 5.29’s. Will this tune be available in the next update?

I love Adaptive Cruise Control. Is 2.0 still going to incorporate ACC? Can you elaborate on this:

Hola guys, first release flash kit user here. Currently running 1.05.

I'm 04A61 2018 and I've never gotten the TSB from the dealer.

Should I get the TSB update so I may use beta or be patient for the final release? Or will I have to get it done anyway prior to final release?

Little confusion, haven't been following much lately.

Your suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

I'm not so sure that people are going to switch back and forth between this anyway. But if you are set on having this as an option then maybe us manual loving people can have a manual option.

I'm assuming that the computer is programmed in some sort of ladder logic, structured text, or function block language.

With that assumption, I'm also going to assume that the ecu has a couple of inputs that are not used.

Let's say all mt trucks have an input (15) that is not used, but for future development.

    You write in the code:

    If I:15 = 0, then use map A (base), if I:15 = 1, then use map B (towing).

Then tell us which pin on the ecu to use, and whether it will need 12v input or common, and if we want such a feature, we can manually install a toggle switch to that input to activate.

You could even sell an install kit for such feature.

I'm in industrial maintenance and work with plcs a bit and am familiar with some ladder logic, I'm not sure that it is this easy for the trucks programming.

You are good. Pretty certain 04A61 is the latest version for your ECU.

with the latest updates that you will be giving, are you happy with the results for the 2019's that you are having "issues" with?

i have a 19 (with your tune kit) so, this interests me. the only issue i had with any of the tunes i tried (on beta 2.0 now), was the stutter on 1.05. i did try the 1.05.1 and that did cure the stutter.

i know you have stated in the past, you think the 1.05/1.05.1 is a "better" performing tune then the beta. can you elaborate why, or does the new changes make that a non-issue now?

thanks again for all you do, and keeping us updated an informed. glad to be part of the OVT mafia. Ski

Why can't you lock your truck while it's idling? Have you tried locking the door with the key?

Nothing is easy for these trucks lol I believe this was discussed at one point and it wouldn’t work for some reason
