Excellent. So I take it the stroller was in the bed with the hi-lift and axe

 

Haha we actually don't have the stroller yet...the one my wife wants isn't available until February apparently. So when we go out I either carry her in the car seat or in the chest wrap thing we got..



That thing forces me to have perfect posture which ironically hurts my back. I feel like a kangaroo

Yeah you learn quick when it's your own lol. I was the same way. They have zero neck muscles the first few months so you have to be sure to hold their heads, they're floppy AF

 

I love kids cause they're fun and see things so different than us, but babies I've always kinda like been scared of for some reason

As fragile as they seem you'd be surprised how durable they are. I mean the human race has made it this far after all lol

I think it's more like phobia and just need to be around it more to get comfortable, I'm sure I would

I remember singing my kid to sleep in my arms - walking around the bedroom. I was so damn tired. Walking with my eyes closed, I tagged his head into the corner of the wall. lol. poor kid. After that, I was sure not to walk so close to the walls. hahaha.
then there was the time he rolled off the bed while sleeping. scared the shit out of me. saw him start to turn over, went to grab him but couldn't get a good enough grip. rolled off and dropped right between the nightstand and the bed. oh man, yeah that nightstand was moved immediately after and we made sure extra pillows were on the bed.

 

When my brother was about 8 months old and I was 5 years old, I was in the backyard whacking a rubber ball around with a baseball bat. He was crawling on the grass, my mom was on the phone (you can see where I'm going)

I went to take a full swing at the ball and he crawled right in front of it, I tagged him right smack in the middle of his forehead with the bat lol. He went semi-unconscious and my mom freaked, naturally, and rushed him to the ER. He was totally fine minus a huge lump on his forehead that lasted for days.

Lucky for him I wasn't very strong at 5 but it was still pretty frightening especially for my mom. I barely remember it except for him getting hit and my mom freaking out.

Duuuuuude.... That crap freaks me out man. But babies really are built extremely durable and resilient. I get it

Yep, its amazing just how resilient kids are. Rubber for bones.

 

One of my earliest memories is when I got my head shut in a car door at 2.5 yrs old..I was getting out feet first like kids do. My mom was talking to the neighbor and closed the door without realizing my head was still in the way lol. Got 10 stitches and a scar I still have on the back of my head to this day.

I still don't let her live that down

 

closes up really quick. you only worry for a little bit but honestly, its gone before you know it. 2 months for the one on the back of the noggin and 7-18 mos for the top.

 

Ya it's kind of freaky to think about...babies skulls are like tectonic plates that shift around lol
