So I got in a hit and run and getting some coverage through my insurance.

Maas looking into getting a steel rear bumper. Looking at high clearance no swing out since I think I’ll add the rigd hitch swing arm when I need to bring a full spare.

wanted your guys opinion on the fit and look of the CBI v C4 with side hoops v Relentless fab one. Also maybe I’m missing other good choices. Pics of yours would be really helpful.

question on the high clearance, I have to cut my sides so wanted to know if it is worth it.

I don’t plan on wheeling but do get out on some trails probably twice a month.

You don't need HC if you don't plan on wheeling. Bruteforce makes great bumpers as well. Very well priced and well built

I wouldn't call it a "real offroad bumper" being only 1/8in steel. Might as well keep the plastic caps and not waste the money. It is simple and clean but I would at least order something a little stronger.

True, there are definitely more significant bumpers out there. But this one was a good balance if you want the look, recovery points and not bog your truck down with extra weight. Aren’t ARBs 1/8 too?

I don't know but I do know they are crashed rated and have crumble points to absorb an accident. Means you'll have to buy another one anyways.

no the rear summit is 1/4"...BUT also goes above and beyond with added crossmembers to keep things stout. The only downside is needing to cut holes in your rear bed....that was a tough moment for me but decided it was worth it. Been very happy with it

Just fyi, Rigd will not fit on any high clearance bumper. But, should work on bumpers that use the OEM receiver. At that point though it won’t really be high clearance, just a metal bumper.

“None of the UltraSwings are compatible with a high-clearance bumper. You need a minimum of 6.25 inches of clearance from the top of your hitch to the bottom of your tailgate when dropped.”
