    Living in Florida but being from Kentucky originally I also find myself needing a bi-annual mountain retreat. Luckily my inlaws have a place in Western North Carolina around Lake Nantahala that I swear is some of the most scenic/majestic land anywhere. I could definitely see myself living at least part time up there in retirement.
