i'd say fuels

 

I like the Konig's with the Mickey's

 

I voted Fuels, but if your mudding then go with the Konigs. Mud will get caught in the fuels and give you crazy highway vibe's.

 

I've been looking at moto metals but I like the fuels

 

the truck will be a trail rig and the fuels are 1400 CDN and the countersteers are 770 US for a set of 4

 

I dunno. I was strongly considering the Octane's myself. But that Konig is a clean looking rim.

There's one complication tho - you say you want the 17" rim.

I *THINK* those Countersteers are only available 16x8, not in a 17" size!

Also look at the ProComp 7005.

What color taco is this going on?

 

can i run either on my truck, want to run either:
285 /70/17
285/75/16

 

Yeah - they end up being the same outside tire size.

 

what about the rims? would they both fit with an icon suspension lift and dakar rear springs with tc uca?

Ultimately, you never know for sure which rims clear the caliper and UCA until you try it or see that exact rim mounted on someone else's truck. Best guess is 4.5" backspacing on 8" rim or 4.75" backspacing on 8.5" rim. a 17" rim is less likely to have caliper clearance issues than 16".

This isn't from personal experience-just from reading lots of fitment threads.

 

Also, expect to remove mudflaps and do trimming. But you knew that right?

 

there is a whole trimmin planned for fitment, Also these Countersteer Type X rims are only avalible from jlbmotorsports, has anyone purchsed from them, ecpecially from Canada?

 

I am getting redy to purchase my new set of wheel for when I get my truck lifted, just collecting parts right now. For these wheels do I have the specs right to work with a 3" Icon / Dakar Lift and 285 / 70 / 17 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires

Its not so much of how they will look on the truck, its making sure they are upto the task of actual wheelin and not "Offroad" mall crawler rims.

Just to recap for everyone that has join my listing method for this project.

Rim Options:

1. Fuel Offroad Octane Black
2. Koing Countersteer Type X Black
3. Mickey Thompson Sidebiters Black

Rim / Tire Size Options:

1. 16" rim with 265 / 75 / 16
2. 17" rim with 285 / 70 / 17

I want to run the Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ Radial tires
