I need to. Thing is I honk so seldom that I dont even think about the horn then when I do lean on it I'm like "Is that even working?"

If I don’t work on vehicles will it be hard to replace/upgrade the horn or am I better off taking it somewhere (assuming I can find a shop that would do it)? Is this something that would affect the warranty?

    Dear Dxironman:

We here at the 4th Gen Tacoma Design Team have been following your thread with great interest.

As you may well be aware, the entire 3rd Gen Design Team was sacked over several unforgivable design flaws with the current Tacoma. We consider the horn not only a key marketing point of at the upcoming 4th Gen, but an oft discussed area of concern among many car owners.

We'd like you to take the time to answer some brief questions that might help us correct this serious mistake on the next gen Tacoma.

If you may be so kind:

    1. How old are you?
    2. Have you been recently testing for progressive hearing loss?
    3. Do you use Q-tips? If so, how far do you stick the q-tips into your ear? Please provide answer in millimeters.
    4. When asked a question, is your first response "What?"
    5. Does your wife or life partner often complain that the volume on the TV is too loud?
    6. Does your wife or life partner complain that you speak too loud?
    7. Are you currently or have you been a roadie in a heavy metal band?
    8. Are both of you eardrums intact?
    9. Do you live in a cold climate? If so, do you often wear ear muffs?
    10. How much ear hair do you have? Would you describe the growth as thick? How often do you trim it?
    11. How important do you rate the strength of the horn of a vehicle when considering a purchase?
    12. Does having a weak sounding horn make you feel less of a man?
    13. If you had a choice, which horn tone would you prefer:

    1. Ric Flair: Wooooo!
    2. Homer Simpson: Doh!
    3. Curly Howard: Woowooowooo!
    4. La Cucaracha
    5. Madonna - Vogue

Thanks for taking the time to complete our questionnaire. We consider your feedback helpful and invaluable.

    Warm regards,

    Skip E. Loder
