It's like $2.78 a tube at Lowes / HD. It's the stuff you put the prinsu bolts into to seal them when they go in those holes. I'd just goop a crapload into the holes and let it do its thing.

I'd use that sealant that Conner suggested, and maybe even thread some bolts into the holes? At that point you're just sealing the bolts to the threads, not filling a gaping hole.

That's a better idea. I was gonna suggest that, but didn't want to have him cut the straps a bit to make them fit. I agree that's a superior method though.

Should be standard M8x1.25 hardware you can find at lowes, etc.

And if you can't find any there, I have buckets of M8x1.25's haha. Toyota uses them in everything.

Hex socket plugs would probably be the best idea as he wouldn't have to cut the straps to make room for the head of the bolt.

I went to that place once....

The guy tried telling me that there were different Grade 8 'grades' (ie. one for construction and one for automotive). He asked what I was using the bolt for and I told him that it was for my truck (It was a 1/2-13 grade 8 bolt about 5" long for my rear leaf shackle). The guy insisted that I go to a dealer to get a grade 8 bolt that was spec'd for automotive use. I told him, that my truck is far from stock and the dealer will not have this specific bolt. He was too concerned about me suing him for selling a faulty bolt?

I walked out and went to Marshalls to get the bolt I needed...

Here soon I'll be adding like ~440lbs to the bed of my 1st gen. I amthinking about a regear since right now with like a 200lb shell it's not the quickest to accelerate and kind of gutless up Parleys. I drive like a grandpa so it doesn't really matter that much, but when that additional 200lbs is in the bed I'm worried she'll be real slow. Anyone know of a good place that will do a regear for a good price? I'm pretty ignorant about hearing so trying to get info early

Very much the same. Have the Shift Sense Pro now, it's fine. But very interested in the tune. Do they ever do deals?
