Tried to get an alignment post install and my left side bolts wouldn't move hardly at all.

@mtbjohn42 how are you liking the Whiteline bushings so far? I will be rebuilding a set of LCAs I just bought.

Like what @TacoFNG mentioned, I am too having the same exact issues. Steering wheel is sloppy, alignment is off on drive side, inside tire is wearing out. Clunk when turning right or hit pot holes.

    I'll be replacing the following:
Lower Control Arms (rebuilding them using Whiteline bushings)
    Upper Control Arms (OEM)
Inner and Outer Tie Rods (Pro Forged Inner and OEM Outer)
Rack & Pinion Bushings (Energy Suspension)
Installing 6112 front and 5100 rear (Bilstein)
Installing General Spring KC HD leaf springs

Can't wait to do this in a few weeks!

They have been great. No complaints from me. Everything is very tight and the truck is still alignable lol

No squeaking. Just make sure you grease the crap out of everything. Toyota doesnt do that from the factory...I have no idea why not

Trying to hunt down a mystery clunk!

I'm looking to do one of a few things:
-Rebuild my LCAs with new bushings
-Replace with Total Chaos or Camburg or Dirk King, orrrrrr....
-Solid Axle (ok, not really the route I can justify)

I'm pretty sure it is my stock left LCA bushing that is bad. It's probably not ECGS, as the sound is the same in 2WD vs 4WD. It's probably not UCA, they are new Camburgs and are greased. It's not the sway bar, it's long gone. The clunking over small potholes and washboard might be because of a loose cam bolt, but I've torqued them to spec (96 ft lb). I'm left with thinking it's my LCA bushings.

I have King Extended Travel 700 lb 2.5" with RR (should have got the compression adjuster, dangit). I also have TC skids on my LCAs, so I really don't want to replace.
If travel and ride will be improved with new LCAs without needing to replace my current COs, I may go that route. BUT, if there are recommendations on bushings and it's an easy replacement, i'm open to suggestions.

Do you torque the cam bolts to the OEM recommended value when using the whiteline bushes?

you could also try a limiting strap. sometime the shock bottoms out over small speed bumps makes a big clunk

Whitelines, icon, powerwerks, they are all polyurethane bushing. Which are stiffer but bind and make more noise. I think the alignment puts all the stress on these bushings. Taller the lift the more stress. I don’t think urethane is good for this type of stress. I would go oem for these. Unless you go with the pivot kit from @81Trekker @jdfab then the stress is relieved.

Are there Delrin bushings available that fit?

I just got the Problem Solving bushings https://psbushings.com/toyota-tacoma/ and the bolts don't fit the bushing sleeves. rear bolt too loose and front has a sleeve on it, too big. Anybody else try these?

Armstrong distributers ( for PSB bushings) was very casual is saying" oh yeah, the tacoma and 4runner have the same bushings but the bolt sleeves are different. I'll send you new ones" WTF, my truck is apart, and looking on rock auto, a 4runner takes the same bushing. I'll see what they send

    I have a 2012 trd sport Tacoma
    JBA UCA
    TRQ LCA
I have just changed out my wheel bearings that I bought from @05Taco4x4. But I am still having a problem with a popping noise when I back up and turn my wheel and if I go over a speed bump. I can only assume at this point it is the LCA bushings or alignment bolts. Can anyone help?
