Fair enough. I do to a point, and then things get fun

 

Well I heard something pretty disgusting last night from a fellow co worker. I was telling him about me and the wife making a four cheese tortellini with a marinara sauce , so apparently he had a bad run in spaghetti back in the day it doesn’t eat red sauce. Then he goes to tell about his wife always wondered why he would nt eat it with the first got married back in the day and thought it was due to an old voodoo wise tell told her family .Y’all are going to have to google that

 

Just used the $99 Harbor Freight electric hoist.
Bought it with a 25% off coupon because I'm a cheap-ass.

Yeah, it all seems to be fine now. Adding those rails certainly changed some of the clearances, and I hope the bolts don't wriggle their way out.

 

Something since then, 11 days ago to be exact.
Decided to catch a falling 50 pound pump by the cord after the safety rope broke when pulling it out of a pool.

 

Broke my jaw when I was 10... wasn't paying attention and rode my skateboard into the front corner of a sedan that was driving past. Jaw wired together for six weeks. Then, the following year, broke my leg skiing (shattered the tibia and fibula, requiring pins to piece it all back together). Six months in a cast. Then broke my collar bone while skiing in college (the tech said "oh shit" when he looked at the x-ray so I knew it was bad).

I've had my share of broken bones... fortunately, I've still been lucky enough to avoid chronic joint pain and back issues (to date). Hoping I last a few more years before things go too far south.

I'm 61 years old BTW...

Easy to say when you are/got a desk jockey golfing, drinking, vacation type job.

 

I went to high school in Tombstone...right on Allen St. People there still complain about the inaccuracies of that movie. I couldn't care less; it's a good film.

 

Cool! I did something similar in my garage, only I used four ratchet straps and attached them between the overhead beams and the Yakima rack on the camper shell. I had to lift it off the bed so I could pick up some tall/oversize furniture. It worked perfectly! I simply let the camper shell "hang out" in the garage bay until I came back, unloaded the furniture, and then backed into the garage again and dropped it back down onto the bed.
