    Yeah.

Well I fucked that up! Changed the spark plugs on the 4R, they definitely needed it. Going through and checking the few vacuum hoses and such to see what needs replaced. I have silicone hose left over from the Taco. Pulled the PCV valve out to make sure it was still good and cleaned up it. Then I managed to over tighten it when I put it back in and cracked the fucking valve cover! Screw in PCV valve. FUCK! :bananadead: So annoyed. So now I get to shop for a replacement and plan on doing that sometime.

In the meantime, I slashed black RTV on the crack, doing my best to push some into it. Then I backed the PCV valve off a full turn to let the crack close back up. Hopefully that holds for a while. :frusty:

Suuuuuuuuuck. If you don't get result you're after, JB weld or similar 2 part stuff might do it.... At least you're competent, things break all the time, can you repair it? That's the question, and it happening to you sucks of course. But it would suck a lot worse for many here :D definitely not belittling your situation, just saying :fistbump:

Yeah, it's a bitch, that's all. Gotta replace the valve cover now. Might as well do the gaskets on the passenger side while I'm at it too. They've been done once before according to the maint records I have. Just a pain in the ass is all. At least I don't have to pull the intake like on the Taco. Paint them red like the Taco too

You would think, after all these winters, all the snow storms and bad weather, all the years that have passed by... You would think that someone would have come up with a less toxic (to vehicles) way of dealing with the snow and roads.
