There’s a management application so you can download from the available tunes and load 5 of your choosing to the tablet.

There are a few steps involved (see my post earlier in this thread). Right now there are 87 or 91 tunes, and the options are stock or aftermarket downpipes. No other tunes.

    Also interested in this..
it’s my understanding that you have to send a ticket to ov tune and ask for the 5:29 tune. And he emails you the tune you need\want with 5:29s. I am on a 4:88 tune now and is a lot better then the regular. Can’t wait tell the 5:29 tunes are available

I assume the autos are still getting the 3 way map switch (Standard/Performance/Towing) even though it wasn't mentioned? I am SO excited about this feature!

Don't need to tune the tundra. Already has enough power.

Wonder if S mode gear lock will keep the transmission in current gear or still default to 4th...

@OVTune so is this 2.0 Final or just another iteration of 2.0 Beta?

It's assembly language that mat runs through an RE tool like Ida. He also confirmed no spare inputs unfortunately.

Is there a reason Toyota decided to use port injection for low rpm/cold? If it's causing a miserable idle i'm not understanding the engineers logic. Is it purely an emissions thing? Could there be any negatives from running direct injection only at low rpm/cold?

Or.. you know... there actually is a problem and we're (well Mat is anyway) working towards a solution.

Found another "My truck is perfect from Toyota, quit bitching!" fanboi to ignore.

All that I can say is that I have not had a complaint yet about any DI engine that I have driven, including cold starts. They're light years ahead of the rubberband of EFI with electronic TBs.

Just for clarity, we have only owned two DI motors, but I have driven many others. The Subaru 2.0l DiT seems to be managing the intake build up issue very well and of course the Taco motor is zero concern with the port injection washing down the intake side.

It's interesting to note that "Port" and "Either" injection modes don't seem to get used all that much while driving with any sort of load, although you can be sure of an intake valve "wash" during idle unless the DI cleaning cycle is active. Meh, I'm confident it's enough to keep things reasonably clean though.
