i have not seen ice like that on my vehicle since Halloween in 1991

 

thats good that last storm we had a week or so back i had to break a lot of ice to get into the truck lol

i even about pulled the dent out of my door trying to open the truck haha

 

Ah, we get an ice storm like this just about every year here it seems. Last time it was this bad I decided to try to chop my thumb off in it. Made for an interesting ride to Jefferson City with @Slashaar

We haven't sustained anything major, but it is really tight. Definitely a jeeper trail. We go because it's what we're familiar with. Every time we've been, it's been with the club or group of friends. I'm pretty patient, and still find it entertaining because I've only been 3 or 4 times. Definitely would like to see some other trails, just can't sleep while camping and am usually ill by the end of the day, so day trips are ideal. Idk how close tuttle is.

gotta drive far to find anything interesting everything else around here is flat and boring lol

my uncle,aunt and cousins live near Sedalia and Boonville MO
all i really seen 3 hours north from KC is heavy snow that has snapped trees (leaves still on) and small bits of ice, more like freezing drizzle ... nothing like what you have today for decades that i can recall

 

I heard it's pretty bad through most of the midwest. It's about to hit my mom in Wisco so she just ran out to get some groceries lol. It hit Minnesota pretty hard so it got her all freaked out. No snow here though, just crunchy grass.

 

Iowa is always a mess!

 

You ain't kidding. With all the flooding last year I made the comment to someone "seems like mother nature declared war on Iowa"
