ok street queens... days away... who is in?

they got girls racing this thing and you bunch of guys can't even get out to watch?

Mike does the course run where we watched that race in the rain under my ez-up? that would be a good spot, plus its plenty off the course. I think it was called Ant hill?

 

they typically bypass Ant Hill, but it is similar to that course we saw in the rain...

i am planning to leave from the McDonalds on Sierra in Fontana at 5am...

 

Mike, good luck to Team Engage! You all go out and kick some ass. I won't be able to make it with the SDHQ team this year. Take lots of pictures

 

If anybody wants to roll out, I will be leaving from the McDonalds/Chevron at the Sierra exit off the I-15 at 5:30am sharp...

I will be arriving around 5am for breakfast, etc...

what a glorious day out in the desert...

i was actually amazed at how many people showed up for this race...

the eye candy was definitely worth it too....

don't ask me for pics though cuz i broke my truck early out there... damn it...

well, at about MM16, our team hit a big jagged rock that tore the sidewall of the passenger rear tire apart...

we got the truck to stop at MM19 at the top of a hill...

to get to them, we had to mob through a really bad section, and with KnightRyder in my passenger seat, we almost ended up in a ditch...

we got around that and had to do some rock crawling to get to the race truck...

on the way back to main pit, we hit an even harder section and i think i went through it about 15mph too fast and the impact completely tore my modded motor mount from the frame...

we limped the truck back to main pit, disconnected the cruise control cable, and parked the truck...

i did manage to get some footage of the Engage truck, and youtube permitting, i should have it uploaded in a couple hours...
