    Not much. Been a hell of a week here. 2 weeks ago my step dad fell and cut his head open. Mom came home and found him in a pool of blood on the floor. Called the ambulance and he ended up with 9 staples. Next day started hallucinating and seeing shit come out of the cabinets. Mom took him back in and apparently he had a bleed. Got sent to the trauma center and put in Neuro ICU. Then he got pneumonia while in ICU. Apparently the bleed was a lot worse than they initially thought and surgeon couldn’t do anything. They recommended sending him to hospice and he passed away the next day. Funeral was Monday. Been trying to take care of my mom ever since. Now she’s alone in that huge ass house they had and not very comfortable staying there by herself so she’s been staying with us some. I’d like for her to get a house here in our neighborhood so if she needs something I’ll be close by. Plus she needs something smaller that she can take care of herself.

    Shit, very sorry to hear this. In a very somewhat similar situation. My old man got sick while visiting us in KS. I drove them straight back after he started feeling worse a few day later back to northern IN. Very next morning after the return he collapsed. A week in intensive care found his cancer (new form of) same family and another serious issue I can't spell that was new was going on. 3 hospitals later in 60 days we lost him in Nov. My mom now in similar situation. She lost her brother a week before my dad. We lost 5 people on my mom's side of the family this past year. Now we're helping her get ready to move and all the stuff too. Just crazy horrible times were both in. Very sorry to hear of your loss my friend. If I can do anything let me know.
