serious. he was on his cell the whole time otherwise I would have tried to talk with him. he walked right in front of me as I was leaving the checkout. did a double take. stalked him in the parking lot, pretty easy to pick out which car he was going to go to, walked right in front of me again and I know its gotta be him.

yeah, i know. so Lars has some free time and I know he loves to ski. Gotta be headed to Big Sky Resort for a few days.

I was just out on the deck getting the pellet pooper ready to grill some steaks. Was going to do them yesterday but high was only 4. Up to 21 now so doing them before they go bad, no choice in the matter.

Deer are starting to yard up had 4 of them in the front yard on the edge of the woods.

To the right of the tree in the middle. Well at least you can kind of see the reflections of their eyes. A little... They are only 15 yards away.

I went out during lunch to get groceries and gas for the blower it was just starting then here. Slowing down a bit now with finer flakes but supposed to go until 9 AM. And then get cold with wind and blizzard conditions. Windchills on the hourly tomorrow are showing in the twenties below. Guess it beats 60 belows but don't plan on doing much outside this weekend. Except blowing and shoveling snow.

It's common. Both high schools I went to in Nor Cal did it also. Doesn't work so good in the desert without a convenient mountain near by.

Yeah when I grow up I want to be a weather guesser LOL. Already put in for PTO on Wednesday to go shoot heated 5 stand this time going to try Whispering Emerald Ridge outside of Eau Claire. They are going to open it for 5 of us starting at 1100. Guessers say it is supposed to be 30 on Wednesday. It better be.

It also doesn't work so good with hillsides lousy with chlorophyll. They start West of the Missouri River where the sage brush sea starts. I've seen quite a few of them over the years. Well back when I was often West of the Missouri

    Mountain Monograms

Friend of mine in Sierra Vista called me today. You're right (but of course!) it is pretty high elevation. Said it was 15 the other morning and cold most mornings. But warms up nicely during the day to a nice Indian type summer. Come to find out he is going to a dentist across the border in Mexico for dental work to save money. Said what he saves from the dentist pays for the whole trip and 6 weeks rent. Also said it is a whole lot warmer there then back in Silver Bay and told me to think of him when I was shoveling snow. The bastard..

Just for the winter is what I am thinking.. Don't do well in the heat. Or cold. Damn I am getting picky as I get older. 2 places to maintain is awfully expensive though.
