This dish is difficult to explain. In Hong Kong they have this fusion food. Curry meat over spaghetti. Fried chicken with rice on a meat sauce. Etc

this is pork with creamed corn over rice. It’s pretty damn good. I added Chinese sausage on top, “because I can” :)

Salad with beef tenderloin chunks, bacon wrapped bay scallops, mini potato boats and a morel mushroom/port wine reduction. The only thing she ate was the salad and bread lol

Any sake recommendations for drinking and cooking? Came across a few Japanese recipes I'd like to try out and they all have sake involved which I know nothing about. Thanks in advance!

Teba Shio (Salted Chicken Wings) 手羽先塩焼き

    IMG_20200121_174914849.jpg

I've made hundreds of chicken wings from air fried to deep fried and grilled, smoked, broiled, baked etc... All in the name of getting that crispy outside and the juicy inside.

Long story short.. these are the wings I have been looking for!! Super crispy! Juicy and tender on the inside.. and SIMPLE.

    I found the recipe here:
    https://www.justonecookbook.com/teba-shio-salted-chicken-wings/

Quick version: Soak wings in Sake for 15 min, pay dry and salt and pepper then broil on high in oven for 10 minutes and flip and another 10 minutes. (Need more details? Click the link above)

one of my co workers brought in wings that he brined in a pale ale for a day and then grilled. They came out amazing. I wonder if the sake is the same principle? Those look awesome!
