I've never seen so many MTFU stickers in one place.... And not a single man amongst them.

Today started so good but ended shitty.

Installed my new rust free bed!
then moved to the front for upper/lower ball joints, new coil springs and top hats.
Went to compress the first sides shock, and the bilstein 5100 exploded in the coilspring, and shot oil everywhere. Pretty amazing for a shock that I havent used at all lol.
Ordered a new set from wheelers so hopefully they can maybe process a warranty claim through bilstein.

so instead of finally, finally, finally having a sound 4wd truck with no worries, I have to wait till next week.

sucks but isn't that how it always works out?

    just remember the words...

    "I Can't Have Anything"

    :anonymous:

Wheeler's is decent, they'll take care of you quick. If not, tell them to put Josh on the phone.

When was the last time you ordered from Wheeler's, most of my contacts there are gone. They were acquired by Trail gear last I heard

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
If it makes you feel any better I put a brand new strut on a tundra under warranty because the old one was leaking at 5k.

Put it all together, put the truck on the ground and the shock blows out at the weld for the stem. So warrantied another... fun stuff

Just a little worried that the shocks are from nov of 18, but the truck has sat for a year and ive been slowly ordering parts and changing things as I go.

I was just excited to have it all done, I was gonna go ridin dirty and drive it down and pressure wash the shit out of it cause its been sitting aside from my weekly start ups.
one more week of wait is nothing, I just feel jipped out of 200 bucks for having them explode lol.

and yes, trail gear owns them now.

Hmmm... now that I think about it, has been nearly a year. Last time I talked with Josh was at the end of March last year when I ordered the SPCs. Hopefully he's still there - cool guy who really went that extra mile with customer service. I'll give them a call on Monday. Was planning on putting an order in anyway.

    That disheartens me.
I liked dealing with wheelers. Hell my original donahoes and Seaver’s my father put on in 2006 was bought from them.

If Josh is gone, loyalty is out the door. I'll start sending my business to LowRange. Have ordered from them a few times and they were always on the ball as well. They kicked in a free LowRange Beanie my last order.
