What do you mean RCI aren't full length? They seem to be the same size as these unless I'm missing something. I just installed RCIs and I'm very pleased with how solid they seem. Not saying they are the ONLY good option either though. I considered these RRWs as well.

I really like mine alot. They seem super strong especially if you drill the 4 additional holes(one at each end) and add 4 more heavy duty bolts. I would recommend them. Although I haven't had a chance to use them offroad yet, I'll post a pic as soon as I do.

Okay so I’ve had these a little over a year now, and thought I would do quick review and update for you guys. As far as looks these things are very nice. When I installed them they weren’t too hard with some help and I haven’t had any problems that I’m aware of regarding post install issues. I had some chips on the powder coating upon delivery, as stated in original post. Found on the forums a few others with same issues, and the RRW ended up having the following batch compromised and recoated them before sending them out. After I had them on for about a month the coating started breaking loose in about 6-8 small spots so I contacted RRW and they stated it was normal to cover with some spray paint so that’s what I did. As the last year has passed more and more of the coating has flaked off. Mostly on the sides and top. I’ve never taken these down any trails yet and mainly use them for trips out of town because have a company vehicle for majority of my travels. The vehicle is parked outside and only been driven in snow one time last winter. After it warmed back up I washed off the vehicle to get all the salt off. The longer I’ve had these the worse the coating has flaked off and now fast forward to now they are just pitiful how bad they’ve gotten. I ended up contacting RRW again and they stated this time since it was over a year they wouldn’t assist with any repairs. I did specifically ask for assistance in covering powder coating. I pointed out the damage and referenced previous cases on this thread from myself and others regarding the defective coating but they persisted that damage was from the roadway or rocks, and declined to fix a problem they originally created. I know I’m frustrated regarding the whole issue so take what you read for what you wish but I thought I would share my experience with the sliders and the company. I will not be buying or recommending any products from here on out. I’ve contacted some local shops that powder coat and they’ve all quoted me at around $400 give or take. I ended up contacting my attorney due to the situation and will unfortunately have to proceed through legal matters to hopefully resolve this sinkhole I’m stuck in.

    Any suggestions are welcome.
    Best wishes, Jessee.

Wow. I considered these sliders, but looks like I’ll be searching elsewhere if this is the kind of customer support you get. Good luck to you

Wow that looks really bad, especially for never really abusing it...

It may not be worth an attorney though... not sure what they'd be able to do.

I think you're better off just taking them off, grinding the powder coat and rust off, and then re-spraying it with some primer and spray-on truck bed coating.

Sucks that you have to deal with all that.

Seems like you're gonna spend way more on an attorney than just getting the things powder coated.

I thought the same thing but I don’t pay my attorney anything unless I win. Additionally, all the quotes to repair (sandblast and powder coat) haven’t been less than $350, most have been $400+ around my neck of the woods. Additionally, I’m suing for original replacement, repairs, and court costs. Estimated at $1,500. We’ll see how it goes.

I'd just take off and rhino line or linex and call it a day. Not really worth the hassle of a lawyer and all. Even if you recoup $1500 you'll have to do something and pay the lawyer.
But that's great you pointed it out for all to see. Maybe they'll make it right.

Yeah I know. Thanks for the advise guys. Been doing some research and getting quotes. Probably get them blasted and go the simple route with rattle can textured spray paint. Just sad that I got to spend the money and labor (again) to get them back to a desired, functioning state when in reality it wasn’t something I did.

Can anyone identify which version these are? Was planning to pick them up locally but am worried they are the ones with subpar build quality...

I was debating between these and the Bamf but with all the early problems jumped on the Thanksgiving sale and waited.Definately a quality company and stand up guys.I have no doubt if I had any issues they would take care of it.Had them install while I waited and they are rock solid. My vote is Bamf!

Regardless people, this issue sucks. Company should have addressed it. Period. I’d never deal with them based on this.

This is absurd for a powder coated item. Would make me question if it is powder coat at all, or just one layer of cheap ass paint/no primer, over already rusting metal.
