    The wife is heavy into the local social media groups and there is one just for the people in our area. Mostly old German and Polish catholic farming families, good people who like the fact that when they look up and see a car driving down the road they know exactly who it belongs to. She’s shared the details that we already have with them.

    Im hanging the game cameras up this weekend and they are motion activated so they’ll get everyone driving by. I can swap the cards out regularly and scan through them searching for her car to get the plate off of it.

    We don’t have a fenced yard and have about ten acres of woods behind and to the side of the house. When out she never leaves the yard - even when chasing wild animals out of it - and we didn’t train her for that. Amazes everyone that sees her go to the property line and stop. She’ll respond to English from our son but I trained her in Czech which hopefully will keep a savvy thief confused as to why she won’t comply in Dutch.

    A Great Pyrenees bitch was stolen from some nearby friends almost a year ago, and in the last six months better than a half dozen purebred dogs have disappeared in our rural area. I doubt these are the people that steal dogs for the fighting pits. Speculating that they are trying to find intact dogs to breed.
