What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Nice little snow storm tonight, the Taco handled perfectly.

 

I gotta say my Taco is the best truck I ever drove in the snow.

 

The main reason I wouldn’t get these is the housing design change ie. 86ing of the headlight trim plates. The bumper/body line below the headlight and headlight itself doesn’t look fluid but more jagged and out of place.

Mine are on order. I’ve got a lot to do. SSO Slimline bumper to install. Morimoto XB headlights. Caliraised LED grill light. Pro Grill. Tailgate pop n lock. And remote start! Then I’ll be done ( said no man ever )

 

It’s funny when I was looking I could not find them there. I’ve purchased things from them before and even went to there shop. But I could not find the headlights. Ended up getting them from extreme terrain.com

 

Washed and installed a Pro grille

 

Broke in the trailer hitch yesterday. Two sections of warehouse racks from a closing Sears store for a friend. Doesn't pull quite my former 8 cylinder, but wasn't too bad with the hills around here.

I towed my boat for the first time last summer, like you said it doesn't pull like my old Ram Hemi but it got the job done and it also got better then 10 mpg.

 

Hey Dan, did you have a wire harness on the top outside edge of the frame that had to be removed for your RCI slider to fit. I had to remove 2 harness clips on my 2020 during my install.

 

Yes I had the remove two clips you are speaking of as well. I ended up just zip tying the harness to the frame. Passenger side was a breeze after tackling the drivers side. Glad to be done.

 

You'll need 6" of lift and quite a bit of trimming and cutting and maybe a few prayers.

Finally put this MFer on... had it since the beginning of November. More difficult to install than one would think.

 

Question, that one has light-up LEDs, would that have much draw to kill the battery over time? I’ve been pondering a constant usb add-on, so appreciate the idea.
