Hit a dip. truck went to the side a bit and the tires dug into some deep soft dirt. Then she rolled and rolled and rolled. Still started up after

    BUILT, not bought...

I actually did that. Got tired of driving the 110 miles ONE WAY to get to work every day. I started camping in my truck.

I slept in the bed when I really wanted to stretch out.

The campground where I parked was next to a lake and our RR tracks. My coworkers would go by and blow the horn on the locomotive when they knew I was alseep...and they'd come and hide my boots.

When staying out all night instead of going to the motel or camper we would sleep in our trucks. And in some cases when others were sleep in leaning on their doors we would pull the door open quickly and catch them. Funny shit.

I drove from Florida to Alaska and then back to Georgia. Granted I stayed in Alaska for 2 years in between. Talk about some kickass road trips. Towed a 5x8 trailer on the way up, filled up a SoftTopper on the way down. Good times.

Better cage your new one! ;)

What'd you do with that truck? Might have made for a great project/basher/fun rig since you no longer had to worry about that first scratch. :D

Insurance company took it. It was an '02, I paid $19k for it in '03 they paid me $18.5K in '07. Make sure you guys take alot of pics of your truck inside and out. I had before and after pics. I also took pics of every square inch of the truck the day they picked it up from my house. Thats what got me more $$$$$. They were offering me $11k. They rated everything as poor condition. They tried to tell me that the inside as all dirty and muddy. (NO SH!T, I told he. The truck rolled over and the side glass busted out of couse there is dirt in side.) I got them to change the condition of every thing inside and out to either excellent or good. Just by telling them I had the pics, they never even saw them. I also told them how I washed the truck every week :D. And how there wasn't a scratch on the paint until the accident ;). Keep receipts for stuff you buy for it, and do your own comp's for the same truck if some thing bad happens to it. They try to give you fake comp's. I found comp's that were very high which rasied my average. Oh yah, I had State Farm insurance if anyone was interested

This cut and little pieces of glass in my arms and a very sore body is what happen to me.(only 9 stitches) My lady got a little two stitch cut on her thumb. We both got stitched up in a Mexican hospital. I don't recommend this. MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS HAVE A FIRST AID KIT WITH YOU. Thats how I was able to stop the bleeding after the crash. One more thing. Never go out by your self to some where you don't have cell coverage. If you do rent a satallite phone. If it wasn't for the 2 couples that just happen to be coming home from where we were going we might not have made it home. We were over 25 miles from the highway. They took us to their home in Mexicali and let us make calls before we went to the hospital. It was sunset when they saw us, we had crashed 2hrs before.
