Good morning. Snow trailing off but wind is howling. And doesn't look like it is going to let up anytime soon. Wish it would blow all the snow out of the driveway for me instead of filling it in. It is doing the same thing that damn snowplow does.

She missed Paducah Kentuck by "this much". And she did the forecast here too was supposed to get a foot and only got 6" so far. Not that I am complaining..

I am the only person that I know who still is all steel and wheel guns, just never got around to polymer. Really should, steel seems to get heavier as I get older as do the hills and mountains steeper. In fact just got my first black plastic shotgun right before Christmas a Benelli Cordoba. New old stock apparently not many people buy shotguns right before Christmas and won it on Gunbroker at ~ half price. No one else bid against me. Everything else including my rifles are wood and steel.

Have a friend that drinks Bird "Dawg" once in awhile. Yesterday I stopped at the liquor store on the way home too.

    plated.jpg

3 hours smoked and reverse seared Ribeye with sliced potatoes, onions, carrots, butter and shredded cheddar cooked in foil packet in the oven.

Cleaning all my shotguns this weekend it is indoor type weather. So my table cloth for a few days is my gun cleaning canvass tarp :anonymous:

Do you have any issues with it cycling when using the rat shot?

I just got it for Christmas.. my Glock 23 .40cal runs rat shot great.shot a few thru this 43 and no issues but will have to shoot more to know..I dont shoot alot of rat shot its just incase of a bad rattlerer or copperhead encounter..I almost stepped on a timber rattler this year in some brush, scared the crap out of me,he was coiled and buzzing like a chainsaw and had his head coiled back to strike

Sweat-pants and a t-shirt ARE ok, as long as they're not the same ones you were wearing LAST weekend too.

Doug , I've got a S&W XD9 pistol with a 4" barrel and polymer body basically is an exact copy of a Glock 19 . I like this pistol alot and is very accurate

New out of the box it shoots real good. I prefer to shoot it over my Ruger P94.

Not sure why I thought of it maybe watching too much blowing snow outside. Either yesterday or today is when Desert Shield switched to Desert Storm. 29 years ago, next year at this time will be 30 years ago, damn. I was a Chief on the USS America. We dropped a metric shit ton of ordnance over a couple of months pretty much non stop around the clock.

Might have posted this before but we put together a video onboard the USS America. And put it to Bad Company, Bad Company. My VHS tape of it is shot but even the original wasn't likely to make it to MTV. I still like it though.
