Horn working intermittenly

The wires usually get flexed by time/use that they fail. No socket to reinsert them...

I assume the "convenience package" is the radio/bluetooth stuff, so I need the expensive one... but which one does that correspond to on amzn or ebay is the question?

Recommend looking up the Toyota part number from a online source, then plugging that number into the search box on Amazon...if you're looking for a OEM replacement. Don't rely on Amazon's web service to give you the right part. Most of the time it's probably good, but you can be absolutely certain if you have the Toyota part number.

Take one last look at the part number to ensure it matches before placing the order.

 

Yeah the problem is there's two of these things, and I need the "84306-0E010".... but many of the Am*zon and E*bay sellers list just one item as working for both part numbers. And thats not the case, I've seen a couple feedbacks on E*Bay where the buyer is ticked off and specifically says its not the "84306-0E010" and instead the "84306-04080".

Does anyone know what the visual difference is in these two parts? Is it in the number of pins in one of the connectors?

I can't find an actual Toyota OEM picture that comes from Toyota. I can only find those sketches. If you do a search, all the images that come up are those bootleg knock-offs (and their boxes) on e*bay and am*zn.

 

Since they're showing two different part numbers, I would go with whatever Toyota part number you get from a dealer website. One may be an update, but you won't know until you look it up on a Toyota website.

Google "OEM Toyota Parts" to find a dealer's online website. Don't accept Amazon or the Ebay seller's word for what fits, buy the correct part the first time.

 

No I know the correct part #, I plugged in my vin yesterday, its the 84036 OE010.... the problem I'm having is finding "that right part the first time" among all the cheapies. That's why I'd like to see what the two actually look like side by side... the oem 84036-04080 vs the 84036-0E010 and then I can look at the pictures on Eb*y from a reliable seller and make sure they aren't selling the one without the convenience package as an -0E010 which many sellers apparently are. I think I found one though, so I'll post after I get it.
