    To be honest, I’m ignorant of the other companies, traxxas was just what I was familiar with 15+ years ago in a small town. Never kept up with it after that, was just a short phase for me like skateboarding ;)

    Traxxas has and does make quality RC stuff, it's just aimed more towards entry level (but with replacement parts) beginners IMO. They have very little to no showing at National level races. Where Associated, Losi and Kyosho (and others) make serious racing models. I've raced/fooled with RC stuff for almost 45 years now. Come to think of it, If I had all the money I'd spent on the hobby, I could retire.

    This is my first build ever and even with entry level items once you start getting custom 1st ever items it does add up $. :annoyed:I can't imagine the high end stuff. :hattip:

    I think satin looks a little closer to the SCS wheels. Both look good though, tough decision.

    But I vote satin

    I was leaning towards the Satin because its darker, closer to OEM and will stand up a little better than Matte.
