I'm having the same problem with my rubber piece. I'm going to have to do in modification at the local Home Depot

Late to the thread but you ever mess with the grille to see if you could get rid of the gap on the left side in the photo? I installed a color matched one as well and have the EXACT same gap on that side. It really bothered me at first but I don’t really notice it much anymore but everyone once in awhile it’ll catch my eye and I think about doing something

No I actually found a guy selling a color match sport grille after he picked up an aftermarket one so it’s OEM

I went to a local Tint Shop see if they would be able to vinyl wrap it but they were saying because it's a matte black it would be very .

I used this one (I used it previously on my F150 tailgate, it is solid quality).

ESI Ultimate Tailgate Seal with Taper Seal 5 1/2ft for Either The Sidewalls or The Tailgate Gap https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019QFCZ7A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Zt4iEb8NK4Z9M

Just wipe down the underside with alcohol first, then go for it.

That looks like it will work! Been searching every shape weather stripping and didn’t see this one yet.

Just be patient when you put it on there. Lay it out ahead of time, take a pair of scissors (or like I did, a set of wire clippers) to cut the four little cutouts you need for it to sit flush. You can see on mine where I was less patient and ended up with just a tiny wiggle up from the grille, so with the hood up it looks wiggly. With the hood down, though, I don't notice it, so no harm no foul for me.

looks good. I along with others had good results using this. Extang 1140 MaxSeal https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CN5QG8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_XdcjEb30HQQ6B

Others glued some plastic tabs around the backside and sandwich the rubber seal in between. There’s pictures of it somewhere in this thread

Where can I get the raptor light inserts? I can only find for 3rd gen. Would those fit the 2nd gen trd pro honeycomb grill?

Not sure I like it as much as my original. After all the work of taping everything off, color is not a perfect match. Still debating which grill I will use.

I like it. I see what you mean about the perfect match, but I think overall it looks really good. Did you prime it at all? I wonder if that may have yielded a better match? I don't know much about painting and even less about painting plastic, but just a thought. I like the head light and grill combo. Gah, man. I'm probably going to get some of those head lights now!

    Too many to list.
You might of just help me decide to get a pro. I think it looks great. Color match will be tricky though.

Edit:. I think those headlights make a huge difference on the new look with the pro grill. I think it completes the "updated" look.
