Does anyone know if you can put a climate control switch from a 2010 truck into a 2007, the plugs look the same. The only difference I see is the 2010 switch has a max ac marked just below the cold side on temp switch and my 2007 doesn’t

@sju350 wondering this myself. did you ever find an answer ? I've seen some threads on people changing the controls from the 2012 models up and having to jump some wire or something but I would also like to change this part since I found one that's black. did it work if u tried it ? thanks...

I tried it but it didn’t work correctly. If you had it turned for cold air, hot would come out and vise versa. If you set it to heat then cold air come on. There was a post somewhere on here saying you had to solder something but I wasn’t comfortable doing it so I just kept my original unit in

thanks.. I was afraid of this. wish I had found u before I placed the eBay order lol... here's hoping I can cancel it or I guess i'll return.. I found some black ones for 05-08 and should have pulled the trigger on those but this one 09 one was like $50 cheaper... so frustrating.

It’s weird. Bc the one I bought is an 09 climate control. Not the 12-15. But it still won’t work bc it has the max/cold wording on it ? So mad i didn’t check this out thoroughly before pulling the trigger on eBay
