Exactly. I was over the limit to begin with, but she said that I didn't need to worry about it unless I was hauling. But, I don't think she realized that the plow weighs 1000lbs on its own.

Dropped the rear driveshaft on the Landcruiser last weekend because it developed a horrible driveline vibe. Thought I'd be slick and just leave all the tires on and just slide under it. Needed a little more space so I just jacked it up maybe 6" by the rear hitch( all wheels still firmly on the ground). But I forgot to lock the center diff. So when I pulled the rear shaft the truck rocked back a little ( pro tip, make sure your wheel chocks are firmly against the tires prior to working on it...), Just enough to shift the trolley jack off from under the rear hitch and rock back/ bounce down on my shoulder. At which time something under the truck sliced an ~8" gash in said shoulder. On the plus side I did get the rear driveshaft out. On the not so great side I got a whole bunch of stiches and didn't get to replace the bad u-joint until this weekend. 20200113_203105.jpg

Pretty obvious the culprit, bearing cup split...20200112_201827.jpg

Got the old knocked out and new in yesterday after work. Threw the driveshaft back on this morning. Cool thing about the LC is you can just lock the center diff and drive in fwd, which is what I did all week.

My reinstalling I did use a jack and stands, and made sure my wheel chocks were firmly up against the tires ...

I mean if I didn't have wheel chocks at all it could have potentially rolled over me since I was perpendicular to the truck ok the ground. Which would have sucked balls, so it could be worse. But ya, definitely a waste of a nice day sitting in the ER.

This was parked in Boston at a place I brought my daughter to for a birthday party. I didn't spot anyone wearing Ed Hardy, or UFC gear. But someone has a pee-pee complex...20200118_130450.jpg

It's set sort of armored personnel carrier, but has regular passenger car plates.

Crappy pic, it's one of these: Pit Bull APC

I mean with the massive snowstorm it's obviously the vehicle of choice to bring your kids to a bouncy place for a party

So maybe someone here will know. When I upgrade my radio I’m swapping my 12v socket for a HDMI/USB plug. Is there an adapter to plug the sockets power supply into the USB?

Also, anyone semi local want AJT vent rings?

So do you have a USB right now? If so to keep the factory USB port to a aftermarket radio you'll want something like this.

I wonder if anti fog wipes that I use for safety glasses would work?

For just water, things like that work, it's the dirt and grime from road shit kicked up by the truck that's blocking my camera. I would like an extremely hydrophobic and slick coating so dirt can't adhere but I'm not sure it really exists.
