I drive on city streets, avoid potholes and I go easy on it. I have less than 5,000 miles on a 2010 TRD Sport and it already rattles. Passenger seat has a very annoying squeak and just recently I have noticed some rattling coming from the dash. I haven't been able to pinpoint it yet. Aside from these annoyances, the worst is the knocking/rattling noise coming from the engine on cold start-up.:mad::mad:

I thought mine had rattles until I drove my son's F-150 last week. Most of mine are from all the shit in the bed, center storage and glove box, clean her out and I think she'd be quiet.

Sure it's not the front mud flaps hitting? I drive one spot where this happens. No big deal for me once I figured out what it was.

Mine is too new to tell.

I can say with experience that a Chevy will rattle and squeak all day long as soon as you pick it up from the lot new. BTDT

The worse thing about the last 2 Chevy's I had was the exhaust ticking...used to be they would tick a little when cooling down after shutting off the motor...but the 2008 I had ticked almost all the time. Drove me nutz at the stoplight.

The dealership tech told me it's because of CAFE mileage standards...they are running the motors lean to squeeze the MPG #'s...in turn this makes the exhaust very hot.

My 2005 Taco has 62,xxx miles on it and it is tight and handles great even with a 3'' lift kit and mud tires on it, it still drives like a brand new one.

    I love my Taco.:D:D

You're doing it wrong. Maybe it's her head banging up against the head board ?

I've had a strange buzzin sound coming from around my glovebox area at certain RPM's on my 2006. I now have an '11 with less than 200 miles on it and it also does it.:confused:

    Does anybody else experience this??
